April 16, 2015, a cocaine arrest aboard Norwegian Cruise Line's Norwegian Jewel was reported by several Honduran newspapers. The reports say police arrested Kenneth Antonio Salas Taylor, 36, a crew member working aboard a Norwegian Cruise Line ship in the galley as an assistant cook.

Kenneth Antonio Salas Taylor was arrested with a kilo of cocaine while the cruise ship was in Roatan, Honduras.

Taylor was arrested after the crew of the ship detected "irregularities" and alerted the authorities. The crime is punishable by up to 25 years in a Honduran prison.
